Support Tickets
Support tickets are emails that are sent through support@kingcom.co.za. For security reasons, only registered users can create support tickets. Each ticket opens a task that we close when complete.
- The subject line on a support ticket must not be changed as it strings together all related communications.
- Verified users with access can log in and view communications via our online portal.
- Each ticket can be used to discuss a separate task. For example, if you have a website:
- We can create a separate ticket for each page. Home, About, Products.
- In some scenarios, we can also use a ticket to discuss a feature like the Homepage gallery.
Telephone and Video Communication
We use the phone to explain and understand complex concepts between stakeholders. We try to limit these and only make use of them when necessary.
Meetings In Person & Online
Our meetings, consultations, and call-outs are billable. These rates vary per project. Please check if your package/service or quotations have made allowances for this.
Whatsapp works well for short communication that requires quick answers. However, it does not work well when we have many topics to discuss or the subject has a lot of detail. Whatsapp can also slow down the process as the discussions need to be summarized before we give instructions to our teams.
Google Drive, Dropbox Collaboration
We use these when we have to share files, task lists, slides. This solution makes it easy for us to comment directly on documents.
- Easy way to comment directly on material/elements.
- Effective when information needs to be organized, renamed, etc.
- Avoids the need to send documents back and forth.
Project Management Applications (Asana & Monday)
For more complex projects, we will use an online project management tool. This solution works well on desktop. Although very versatile, it requires a bit of getting used to and training.
